Lewis and Clarke Expedition Chapter 23

Chapter 23

Well, it’s 8:30 and I’m about to mount this iron pony one more time. With only one planned stop for gas and food I should be home today before nightfall. At some point I will catch up with the cold front moving through the area. Ten bucks says I catch it about the time I get home. 🙂 Who knows, though, I’ve got a long way to drive so it may move through the Virginia area before I get there. That would be a nice treat.

Based on the highs for today it doesn’t look like I’ll need my heated gear at all. Also nice!

550 miles to go …

And, after 550+ miles I finally arrived home at about 8:30 ET. I am so glad to be here!
