{"id":457,"date":"2017-09-21T23:49:31","date_gmt":"2017-09-22T04:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westerman.photo\/?p=457"},"modified":"2017-09-21T23:49:31","modified_gmt":"2017-09-22T04:49:31","slug":"fall-sunrise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westerman.photo\/index.php\/2017\/09\/21\/fall-sunrise\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall Sunrise."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you know, I don&#8217;t get up early\u00a0enough to see most of these.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uopn_qSfvjM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As summer moves into fall the sun rises more to the right of my window each morning. As we get closer to October it seems like it goes much faster each day than the day before.<\/p>\n<p>When the air temperature is different than the ground temperature we experience\u00a0the low lying fog every morning that blows about in the light wind. This happens pretty much every spring and fall morning when the sky is clear or mostly clear. Today was no exception.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s nice here today. Barely a whisper of wind under a mostly clear sky.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight we start planning for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lovettsvilleoktoberfest.com\">Lovettsville Oktoberfest<\/a>\u00a0event in the small city near our home. I volunteer at this event with the <a href=\"https:\/\/k4lrg.org\/oktoberfest.html\">Loudoun Amateur Radio Group<\/a>. It&#8217;s a fun few days if you have time and are near here.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is the first \u00a0night of the festival and then Saturday is the crazy day when 10-15,000 people show up between 6am and 6pm in this dinky town of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Lovettsville,+VA+20180\/@39.2730692,-77.6472152,15z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89b61e8ed93be665:0xfaeefc581f1a5355!8m2!3d39.2726017!4d-77.636657\">Lovettsville<\/a>. It&#8217;s a fun time at a great time of year around here. The weather is supposed to be basically perfect this weekend and on into next week.<\/p>\n<p>These flowers grow as weeds in our yard. The other day I had to weed eat around this rock and thankfully they came back a few weeks later.
